Job description:

• Design, develop backend micro services and database components.
• Design and develop API application
• Bringing a DevOps mindset to automate the deployment and configuration of application
• Leading small team, evaluating and developing subordinates

Qualifications: 

• Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS cloud.
• Experience with Docker container and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Experience writing production backend code in Python, JavaScript, Java, Golang
• Strong understanding on web server technologies like NodeJS, Apache, Nginx
• Experience writing apps backend with relational (MySQL or PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, HBase) and Graph databases (Neo4j, Giraph)
• Experience with application load balancing solutions for Scaling and High Availability
• Understanding of network security risks and knowledge of risk assessment checks on systems, maintain firewalls, update security procedures and monitor all systems.
• Foundational knowledge in micro services and networking technologies (TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT, etc.)
• Familiarity with continuous deployment methodology and other common DevOps tools including Git, Jenkins and configuration tools such as Chef, Puppet, Salt and Ansible

Desirable Qualification:

• Technical expertise in distributed framework: Hadoop, MapReduce etc.
• Technical expertise in Real-time data streaming: Kafka, Spark streaming, etc.
• Technical expertise in create scalable web-based RESTful APIs and Graphql
• Technical expertise in use WebSocket communication.
• Technical expertise in social media technologies integration.  

Other skills:

• Ability to work in intensive fast forward atmosphere and agile development model.
• Ability to work as a team as well as independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Spoken and written English, Japanese is a plus.
